As I understand it ... the most advanced security even on the 802a trucks is interior only.

If someone throws a rock that smashes glass, it's not the glass smash (shock) that sets off the alarm but it's the rock setting off the interior motion sensor.

I'd like the extra chirp if someone is rocking the rig or thinking about doing something dumb.

Gotcha, think you're right on the money with that description! thx!

Anyone install this on a Raptor? Are there different part numbers for a 2017 vs a 2018 like the Bajamod link states

This will let your vehicle alarm/chirp if someone rocks it or taps on the window i.e. anything that triggers the shock sensor

https://bajamod.com/detail.php?product_code=BM1016

An Aluminum bracket that holds the FT4Z-19A361-A Perimeter Plus alarm upgrade for your 2017 Ford Raptor - now also fits DL3Z-19A361-A for the 2018 Ford Raptor

I received the new p/n JS7Z-19A361-A for my 2018 Raptor and designed my own bracket to mount the new version. I heard BajaMod will be reconfiguring their existing design to allow for the new version but working for a precision manufacturing company, I didn't feel like waiting. Mine seemed to end up a little more compact compared to the BajaMod bracket and I also used self-clinching nuts to make the module mounting easier.

Reading online it says that the 2018 module needs to be programmed by the dealer. Any one know if this is true or false?

Reviving an old thread...is this just plig/play? Where do you plug in the plug? Is there an instruction guide? Looks like the PN for 2019 is KN1Z-19A361-A.

Yes plug and play. Used the bracket as it gives a more secure mount to be able to detect shocks.

Anyone have a part number for this that works on a 2019?
I'm interested in the optional shock sensor as well for an 802A 2019. I would just want to confirm it can be set for sensitivity so that I don't become 'that guy with a car alarm' that goes off constantly. Mostly I want it for when camped or hiking... be good to know someone is starting to mess with the truck.

I also want to confirm it is something that can be turned on or off through the dash when exiting the vehicle.

It appears the part number for the Perimeter Plus Vehicle Security System that’s compatible with 2019 Raptors was provided a few posts back. There have been numerous previous threads on this system. I have it installed on my 2020 and highly recommend it.

You can adjust the sensitivity of the shock/impact sensor as well as disable the shock sensor. I have it mounted on a Bajamod plate

Hope this helps!
