Did you try the Limited exhaust? That seems to be the best option. There are weld in mufflers at Summit that are rated for quietness.

A Limited muffler? Do you need the massaging seats and a chair lift into the cab as well? Lol. Stock truck does talk but all around is pretty Mello.

I much prefer the sasquatch77/kuan irritating, louder and prouder AWE 2FG exhaust. Way, way better than stock.

For me, it has zero to do with it being a comfort thing and too loud. It has to do with it sounding like shit. I had Borla ATAK on my 2012 with the 5.0 and it wasn't loud enough. The Gen 2 just needs to worry about being seen not heard. It's the chick that's a 10 until she starts talking.

That’s very true when you put the wrong aftermarket exhaust on it and the whole thing turns raspy and way overdone. It’s almost a fine balance to keep these trucks sounding decent or being annoying. While the factory exhaust is not really over loud, it’s a bit high pitched. But that’s a V6 for you.
