Just finished the first oil change at 2500. Thank you for all the tips. It allowed me to do it with minimal mess.

1) stuffed a bunch of shop towels in front of the skid plate to catch misc oil.
2) Created a “funnel” or maybe a better description is a channel using a bbq grill tin foil catch plate.
3). Installed the fumoto valve and FL-500s. Next time should be much easier. I’m wondering if I can reach the fumoto valve without pulling the small plate.

lone thing I did notice. That dipstick is really tough to read. Put 6 quarts in but was tough reading the dipstick to confirm.

thanks all.

I agree this dipstick is really hard th read. Seems like one side is accurate but the other side is smeared with oil top to bottom. Manual says wait 15 min fir oil to drain before checking.
