GEN 1 Sorry, had to ask a 37'' tire question.

I have Fox 3.0 front (proabaly raised front 1.5inch), Deaver +2 rear, Method NV 17inch wheels. Going to replace stock KO tires with KO2 37x12.5x17.

Any problems going to have with this setup? rubbing?

From what I've read on here, plan for it to rub in the front with that set up.

You've basically got 3 options to minimize rubbing. I've got 0 offset wheels and FOX 3.0 about 1.5 inches up on my truck and went with option 3 since I take it off road.

1. Stock offset wheels or as close to it as possible.

2. Fold over pinch welds, re-install factory liners with HW that will suck them up closer to the fender.

3. +2 fiberglass fenders.

I’d like to note that you still may need to do #2 regardless of if you do #3. Not to mention #3 being exponentially more costly than 1 and 2.

best bet is to bend over those pinch welds suck the liner up the best you can (those threaded nutcerts do well here, I’ll post the hw I used for this) and cut the factory flare wherever it hits. Way cheaper and significantly less work than new glass.

Only option 2 left for me, lol... don't want to go back to stock wheel and fitting fiberglass fender is pita I heard.

Where it rubs the most? with 0 offset wheel I guess it would be fender flare? and I guess it would only rub when offroading?

Agree with that. On my previous Rappy with 37s, I had 2.5 inch level up front and 1" block in rear. There was no rubbing with that setup. My current Rappy has a 1.5 inch level up front (by previous owner) and stock rear. I was told by my offroad shop that I can't run 37s with that setup without rubbing, so I went with 35x12.5x17 Yokohama MTs, and am very happy with them. However, Toyo makes a 36" MT (18" wheel) that would probably work, but they are heavy.

I just realized that this was a Gen1 forum, sorry.

I think you'll be fine with the KO2's. They are on the smaller side of 37 (36.5"). You probably need to fold the pinch weld and may need to tack up the fender liners. You're only rubbing will be the liners, so it won't damage anything, just a bit of annoying sound at lock.

Fenders are not a pain. They can be a pain to install with perfect aesthetics for fitment, but once installed not issues at all.

What did you end up doing? I was looking through the tire/rim post and it does seem like guys are running KO2 37’s on mid perch with no mods for the street. I am interested in 37’s but I don’t want to mess with my welds if I don’t have to.

I am doing it, waiting on the tires to come in. Street to moderate offroad seem OK without pinch weld mod but I am willing to do if necessary.
