One of the local dealers around here orders all of their Raptors with the ramps. I don't understand why. None of their other F150s have the ramps.

Another question. Do you lose the tie downs if you install these? It appears in pictures to use those slots right?

If you mean the BoxLink system, then yes, you cannot use those when storing the ramps. The ramps come with their own mounting cleats. You are still able to access the tie downs in the very lower corners of the bed though.

I think that’s what I meant. I’m not sure I’ve noticed the corner tie downs. I’ll look tomorrow. That may be ok.

FWIW, I got received a box of Box Link brackets along with the ramp brackets and I couldn't get them on the bed sides when I took the ramp brackets off. I didn't try all that hard though.....they looked like they should slip right on but it was going to take some forcing to get them on.

One of my tie downs (just googled it. They call them cleats?) was handed to me by the previous owner when I bought the truck. It just took a rubber mallet to persuade it. Do you have the spray in bedliner? I think that may have been a factor. It was the rear left one.

Yeah, I have spray in bed liner but the brackets weren't sprayed. The ramp racks came off super easy and I figured the cleats would go right on but they didn't. I have a hard shell tonneau so I won't be using any of that stuff anyway. I was thinking about trying to rig something up for ski racks with the existing hardware/brackets. That way skis aren't sliding around in the bed.

I ended up just getting a pair of cheap folding ramps on Amazon. I didn’t want to lose the tie points by removing the cleats. I’ll use them way more than the ramps. Getting my Monkey next weekend.

Mine definitely required re-engineering. Some work with a file + brute force ultimately overcame the problem.
