I’m running Goosetune, Cobb TCM. All else is stock. Curious for those of you with other performance upgrades (or not), which gauges do you monitor and when?

I geek out with my setup and like to think about the most practical gauges to display.

I leave it in the glovebox. It doesn’t tell you much that you would need to know imo.

I like to watch charge air temperature, intake air temp, boost pressure, oil pressure, total knock count, and Octane adjust ratio (OAR). I pre-logged all these things prior to adding tunes and running stock. Then continued to log with aftermarket IC, CAI, AMS tube inlets, etc.

I was able to use knock counts to determine sparkplug #4 was giving me fits vs the coil pack by watching all 6 cylinders.

When I was custom tuning with Winfield (Goosetuned) I would monitor estimated HP/torque on the 4th gear pulls to get a sense of each map he provided. For example on the e30 map it was 472 hp/580 tq vs the e50 map I logged 530 hp/618 tq. I know these are estimates but it at least gave me an idea at the crank. My ass could definitely feel it.

I assume you’re doing 4th gear pulls using the paddles/manual?
