Squadrons are great. You can do the Sports, which are 3150 lumen each. Or the Pros, which are 4900 lumen each.

Depending on your use I'd recommend

Squadron Pros w/Spot (to shoot down range): http://www.4x4truckleds.com/baja-designs-squadron-pro-pair-spot-led/
Squadron Pros w/Wide Cornering (if you plan to shoot them off to the side, but it may look odd on the pillars): http://www.4x4truckleds.com/baja-designs-squadron-pro-pair-wide-cornering-led/

Pillar mount lights should really be spots. Anything else and you run the risk of them reflecting off your hood. You can also do what's called Driving/Combo lense which include 2 spot patterns and 2 wide cornering patterns. A great middle ground: http://www.4x4truckleds.com/baja-designs-squadron-pro-pair-driving-combo-led/

You'll need to mount those and we offer 2 solutions

SDHQ: http://www.4x4truckleds.com/sdhq-2017-ford-raptor-a-pillar-light-mounts/
Alternative Offroad: http://www.4x4truckleds.com/alternative-offroad-2015-ford-f-150-a-pillar-light-mount/

The main difference is the SDHQ sit closer to the windshield and mount under the cowl whereas the alternative offroad mounts sit further up but are easier to install since they mount underneath the hood (quicker install). Both are great mounts though.

Then of course to hookup the lights to your upfitter you'll want the following 2 harnesses:

Upfitter Harness: http://www.4x4truckleds.com/baja-designs-ford-upfitter-wiring-harness-squadron-pro-sport-s2/
55" Splitter (connects both lights together): http://www.4x4truckleds.com/baja-designs-squadron-s2-wire-harness-splitter-55-universal/

I’m more interested in the most amount of light possible, without spending an atrocious amount of money. The current budget doesn’t have thousands of dollars in it for exterior illumination.

I will reiterate - XL80’s look good and throw a comical amount of light downrange.
I’ll see if I can dig up a pic of Lucille.

IF you do go with squadrons, over wire and account for XL80 current draw. Wait for a convenient Black Friday sale, move your squads to some other position and replace with XL80s and don’t look back.

So I'm having an internal battle with the 12 year old in me, and I'm 50/50 on Ditch Lights. If you have them, can you post some pictures for me?
I've been pretty happy with my Baja designs squadrons raceroracer spots my apillars they aren't huge but still throw out a bunch of light.IMG_20200530_174428.jpg IMG_20200530_163648.jpg IMG_20200530_174428.jpg IMG_20200530_163648.jpg
