How’s the shock look? If it’s just the guard, no worries.

I'm glad you asked, actually. I've been discerning the options of rebuilding shocks, replacing/upgrading shocks, or riding them for a while longer until I "need" to do something about them. I've got 74,450 miles on my 2013 right now. No signs of leaks and she rides good so far as I can tell... I've never had a Gen 1 Raptor with less than 65k miles, so I don't know how they rode when they were new.

Look like dirty raptor shocks to me.

The shaft you need to inspect is located under that plastic shield. you will have to remove it to inspect. The shaft should have a polished look, no dings, dents or bends.
