Okay.....I didn't think about the metal disc on the back messing up my wireless charger. I tested it, by taping on the disc and my wireless charger worked. I did the install and loved it. Later that evening when I placed the phone in my home wireless charger, it started charging and then dropped out and paused about 20 seconds later. Soooo....it didn't work with my charger. The round disc would need to be about a 1/2" higher on the phone to work, but that covered the camera.

I decided to buy another phone mount (squeeze shut type) and adapt it to the Corse mount. I ordered this one from Amazon, $11.00 (see link). My plan was to screw or glue the new mount to the magnetic portion of the Corse mount. To my surprise, the ball on the new mount was the same size as the ball connector on the Course mount. It was a direct fit to attach the new holder to the Corse ball. It also has a carbon fiber backing, which matches my carbon fiber factory option.

Here are some photos of it installed. The mount has a button release for the arms. It's just as steady as the mag mount.

Just curious. why say "no offense to others"?

who gives a shit if someone else doesn't like what you like?

maybe you don't mean it, but that is some snowflake shit right there.

Do what you want, no matter what, someone else won't like it.
don't be apologetic for it.

What a jerk....take your meds!

real easy for you to talk hard on the internet snowflake.

Arguing online is like running in the special olympics. even if you win you're still retarded.

If you ever get to san antonio, drop me a line. no point in going further here

Actually no. I found with the magnetic mount, the phone could move around when you pushed (typing) on it, especially at the bottom of the phone. It's more solid with the mount. The new mount also moved the phone a little father up, clearing more of the A/C vent. It also lets you see a little more of the Nav screen. I'm very happy with it.

The left/right and up/down movement is limited a little more than the magnetic mount. I grabbed the unit and forced it left to face me better and it bent the metal bracket some, which locked it tighter to the dash and eliminated any vibration. I'm big into customizing things so they fit my needs exactly. This mount is now perfect. I'm thinking about adding one to the other side for my portable XM radio and hiding the wires behind the radio console.

I sure hope you're not driving while you do that crap. Gonna kill someone someday if you are. That happens far too often around here. Worst case, some **** in a big truck kills a family and lives because the truck protected him.
