Has anyone changed their S2 reverse lights to the S1 lights? I assume it’s just unbolt the S2 and disconnect then connect and bolt on the S1 using the same hardware and spacer?

Is the extra brightness noticeable going to the S1?

I installed the S1 reverse lights today and although I can’t say how much brighter they are compared to the S2 since I’ve never had the S2, the install was a tad different than the provided instructions which were for the S2.

I mounted them to the top hole with u-clips like another member did on here. Didn’t use the spacer, just the screw and washer.

The S2 Sports (the standard light included the Baja reverse kit) produce 1130 lumens per light. The S1's produce 2375 lumens per light. So quite a bit brighter! As far as mounting, you can mount the S1's in the same spot of the S2's or a lot of folks have been mounting them to the underside of the bumper itself using a speed clip or u-clip.

Here's a few output pictures of the S1's in action. They're a pretty darn powerful light considering their size and price tag.

We've got plenty of both kits in stock if you're needing a set.

You can mount them in place of your S1 (did you email us/text us, i recall this exact question) but you may need to just drill out the S1 bracket to account for the larger factory bolt is all. Otherwise the wiring harness/connectors are identical.

Should be a pretty quick swap if you want to go from the S2 to the S1.
