You can run pretty much any coolant as long as your not mixing it with other coolant. Mixed coolant unknown what reactions may occur.

They had two of the same truck at dealership? Any problems since? 2019?

Fortunately, they did. Both base 800a in black. I picked the other truck only because it had like 9 miles on it. The dealer was super cool about the whole thing. He asked me how I wanted to proceed and I told him I wanted the other truck. The sales manager said I handled the situation better than 90% of his customers would have. Because it was a Saturday and paperwork doesnt get officially turned in until Monday, it was easy for them to redo the paperwork. Plus all the numbers were the same.

I know this is an old thread. But I just purchased new coolant for my 2013 Raptor at the Ford dealer. And the coolant is now yellow. Per Ford service announcement it is backward compatible with the older orange coolant. So mixing is no problem.

I know this is an old thread. But I just purchased new coolant for my 2015 Raptor at the Ford dealer. And the coolant is now yellow. Per Ford service announcement it is backward compatible with the older orange coolant. So mixing is no problem.
A 2015 Raptor?
Interesting, a one off?

You must mean your 2013 Tuxedo in your signature?

This is correct, nothing to worry about. For the OP, as long as they flushed the system and replaced the coolant with yellow (since yours was built with yellow), there is nothing to worry about; nothing will be damaged and it will not affect your warranty. It is okay to add yellow to orange, but orange shouldn't be added to yellow, since yellow is the improved formula. Ford switched over to Yellow Coolant on F-150s build on 01/02/2019 and later.
