2019 Engine Cover

New to this forum - and apologize in advance if I have missed this in the thread....

I have a 2020 Platinum and want to be more like you Raptor guys - Does the 20 engine cover fit on the non-Raptor ecoboost?

What cover comes on the platinum? Can you post a pic?

It looks like everything would line up, just wasn’t sure if anyone else has done it.

Most honest, accurate answer ever on an Internet forum in 2020.

I have a ‘19 and mice did do a decent nibble job on my engine cover. So, just be forewarned they like that foam if you are ever in a rural area with rodents.

Same thing here on both '17 and '20, but pretty sure mine is a couple of little hamsters.

dang!? rodents did that!

I know some guys could care less what their engine bay looks like, but some like to make it look nice, and I'm one of them . I love the look of the 2019 cover, so purchased one for my 2018. But I wanted a little more color on it, so painted the middle section and the EcoBoost emblem. Helps it match the brushed pipes on my intake. It wasn't an easy substrate for the paint to adhere to. I used an adhesion promoter. We'll see how it holds up. I may put my old cover back on for the nasty winter months.
