Be interested to see how you like those Mickeys. Was real close on pulling the trigger on them.

Ended up with Cooper ST Maxx which I ended up really liking for an onroad/offroad tire. Good in soft sand and mud. And they have preset locations for studs.
How do you like the ST Maxx tires onroad?

I have 13k miles on them and so far they are really smooth and quiet. Got them road forced balanced from the get go and they haven't had an issue yet. No vibration at 5mph through 95mph

Had STT Pros on my last truck, which were great offroad, but on road weren't the best.

Grips well in wet conditions too.

I'll post my thoughts here, ST Maxx was on my very short list, then I ran across a deal for the Mickeys for 230 a tire and MT is running a $100 rebate when you buy 4 so I pulled the trigger on the ATZ.

If you do run beads you'll need more then whats recommend. I have 11.5 oz in my 37" race grabbers on methods and still get times when the balance it out, especially on the front tires.

Thanks, seems like there is no exact science in the recommendation for weight needed. I'll throw the bags in when I mount up the bead locks and see how it goes, worst case? Disassemble, remount and take them to get balanced...beads were less than 35 delivered.

What I have seen is that they do well to balance the vertical but not lateral and that may be why people have their strong opinions on them. I saw that mentioned in a few places, this article sums it up pretty well.

Some times they're perfect, other times you hit a bump it knocks the balance out then it takes like 5 miles when its quick to settle out other times it takes longer

Have been looking at the Atz's, local place for me out the door for 1.044.25. Road hazard, lifetime rotation, lifetime balancing, flat repair. My factory tires are done at 32,000. Kinda ****** me off. Factory psi, rotation every 5000. Not to happy with my first every set of bfgoodrich tires.

How do you like them so far?

Mine just showed up in the garage last night. I like the look and tread in person.

Those are Atz or Mtz??? Looks pretty aggressive for an all terrain if Atz, look great.

Been eye balling the Hankook MT2 R005s too. MT tire but looks closer to AT but hardly anything online yet on them for reviews.
