# 1 = yes

#2 = how much do you want to spend. I have been using Ford Touch up paint on my rock chips. But you could spend considerable amounts of money filling chips and spraying / blending paint.

Local body shop charged me $50 to fix 18 small rock chips in my truck’s hood.

down for 2 days, all fixed.

I can recover some minor clear coat issues, but once it gets to chips, every time I try to get it right, it doesn’t go to plan. I still try and get further along most times, but I won’t be quitting my job to do auto body work.

It is fiberglass. I had a couple of chips and then some idiot backed into me. New hood, new stripes, and now I had the first 4 inches (back to the stripes) clear wrapped. Hope that will keep new chips at bay. Flat towing it next week, so we will see.

I used a ford touch up pen on mine and it’s obviously not perfect but only noticeable if you really look. That’s a good place to start and if you aren’t happy move on to the much more expensive options. There’s lots of good videos out there about fixing chips with touch up paint.
