not sure what ins will do, praying for a total i think, but at 70% of value on a essentially new truck, betting ill be stuck with a repaired truck. Heartbroken

I’m an Independent Catastrophe Adjuster. If your insurance company doesn’t total your truck, hire an attorney that specializes in insurance claims to make them total your truck.

For the record, only issue I had on either truck was IWE on the 18 and oil pan. Other wise love them both. And cant imagine any truck made would have faired any better in this situation, also, keep in mind, we pulled the bumper then dragged a trailer with a sxs from CA to TX non stop right after this. tough ass truck. drove straight, only issue is the steering wheel is cocked slightly left.

Why does the bumper say “Shelby” if it’s Roush?

This whole thread is strange.

Why is that strange, its an ADD bumper off a Shelby, I found a deal on front and rear bumpers off of a Shelby version. Roush comes with std crap bumpers.

Thanks, ill keep that in mind, hoping to know something soon. Just with the write off value at 70% or so of value, seems unlikely they will go that direction. but if they do, I might buy it back, if they don't want 50k for it.

Just found it strange seeing Shelby bumpers on a Roush, since they are competing companies. That’s all; carry on.

Heh, not the first time I have heard that, but for what I paid, plus it was local so I can get over it, and I cannot imagine the damage if I had the stock crap on there.

He stated in the title that it’s a Roush. The Roush packages can easily add $15,000 to the cost of the vehicle.

Yep, a bit over 14k$ for the Roush "Sticker kit" Agree not the best value, but basically for what I paid, got the Roush stuff for free. If they total it, may go Shelby and sell the hideous hood.

I know someone in Tucson that got in a accident in his 2020. Someone pulled out in front of him and he Tboned him. It bent the frame and the insurance company won’t total it. They want to replace the frame. The truck only had 1000 miles on it. He hired a attorney and is fighting them. Sorry don’t have pics as it’s not my truck.
