Av inputs?

Hi all, I’ve searched this every way I can think of and Im not getting any hits.

What are the AV inputs that I see in some gen 1 models? The pics I see are always close up as well, is that inside the console ?

Appreciate any insight.

yes. its in the center console. only the 13/14 trucks had it

yes, you can get video display on the screen. however oem locks you out if you are moving. the nav tv piece allows video while driving. i use it for my flir camera. i opened up the av and connected my flir input to it so i can have thermal imaging while im driving at night when i feel like. but you can use any video input

That is awesome! I was gonna ask if anyone found a real use for it.

My kid has one of those "200 video games" that is built around a joystick and a couple buttons. I tried that and it couldn't interpret the video signal. I have heard portable DVD players work fine as well as video game consoles (Xbox, PSx).
