So I decided to go with Mickey Thompson BAJA ATZ P3 LT315 /70 R17 .... D rated.

I found an offer I could not refuse.
I just got a smoking deal on these as well. Yet to put them on. What do you think so far?

Just ordered them, Supposed to get them on Friday. I have the mounted it up sometime next week.

I really didn’t see a bad thing said about them online. Also go online there’s $100 rebate to the Mickey Thompson site if you bought four tires.

I actually got a set of four of a wrecked truck that are like new. Paid $150 for all 4 Figured if I hate them I can sell. I was wondering how they ride before I put them on. Figure since not a 6 or 8 ply may be decent.

No but I have used them on other off-road vehicles. I plan on getting a set for the Raptor and put on the beadlock wheels.......I bought an extra set of rims just dont have the beadlock rings yet. Having problems in this small town finding someone to mount BL's.

I decided to use my K02s for the for thee true Beadlocks since they will be used in deep sand. I figure I’ll just mount them myself in the garage - I have beer there and curse words are free. Thinking about using balancing beads on them.

What kind of weight do you think? Mine are driving me crazy. Shop did a bad balance bead job and I was thinking of just redoing them my self. Also where do I get them. Valve stems seem to suck for airing down, can I use any with the beads?

I just ordered 4- 8 oz bags off eBay, cheaper than Amazon. I'll try them, all I've seen people have run from 6 - 10 oz and most have been happy.

Unless your running a super heavy 37" or larger tires dont waste your time with beads. You'll get a better more consistent balance with stick on weights

If you do run beads you'll need more then whats recommend. I have 11.5 oz in my 37" race grabbers on methods and still get times when the balance it out, especially on the front tires.

Be interested to see how you like those Mickeys. Was real close on pulling the trigger on them.

Ended up with Cooper ST Maxx which I ended up really liking for an onroad/offroad tire. Good in soft sand and mud. And they have preset locations for studs.
