I cant help much in this department, but what I know is they started with big tires and shocks nothing complicated.I have been once in these cars they are fun. But not my kind of fun it won't tolerate my style of driving.

he needs to graduate to a gremlin with a blown caddy 500ci motor and 35s. :)

i actually dont mind it. it reminds me of the rally fighter.

Exactly my thinking. I understand it's not everyone's cup of tea but with proper execution is would be a pretty kick ass rig. The only real downside is that lack of 4WD. So tires are going to be super important.

My condolences on the passing of your Dad. Maybe keep the Stang, modded or not, as a enduring memory of him.

I agree with Sgt Beavis, keep it in memory of your father, I am sure you will get pleasure knowing that your Dad put the work into this to make it his own. Definitely not my cup of tea but people do some crazy mods. Have you ever seen a lifted Miata? It's interesting to say the least, kind of reminds me of this.

Thanks guys!

Just to be clear, I have zero intentions of turning his Mustang into a RaptorStang. LOL This car is a stock GT with 14k on the clock, garage kept and maintained to his stringent standards - I intend to keep it this way. I'm seriously considering adding her to my stable just to have fun with it as weekend driver.

My Dad and I restored my '68 stang when I was 15 - such great memories. While I don't have the '68 anymore (wish I did), I want this one to remember him.

I'm also inheriting his '31 Ford Model-A truck and his 143 gun collection. My old man LOVED his cars and guns! LOL

speaking from experience, do whatever you can to keep the old man's favorites in the stable.

I've been trying to track down an FJ40 that my dad, my brother and I restored. he sold it a couple of years before he passed away and I'd love to get it back.
