My Dad passed away a couple of weeks ago and he has a 2009 Mustang GT with 14k on the clock. My step-mom wants to sell it and I’m seriously thinking about buying it from her.

So I’m on the Mustang forums having a look around and came across this thread which really gave me a good laugh. At first, I thought the guy was crazy. But the more I read, I have to hand it to him for his ingenuity. Certainly not my cup of tea, but thought you guys might get a kick out of this.

Its one thing to see this as an April’s Fool joke... its another to see it come alive. LOL

do it. I have a morbid fascination with offroad cars. I blame El Zorro for building the fascination.

Then you can look to the Baja 911 and trophy LTD.

My local racetrack built rally-spec miatas, which I've tried out. They are a blast. Dont expect it to be widely accepted or worth much once done, but if the goal is to have fun, go for it!

Maybe I should be embarrassed to say that I actually like it! Really works as a rally-type car. Paint me impressed.

I guess it’s no worse than building an all electric hatchback and attaching the Mustang name to it.

I think it has a cool factor because of what he’s doing, but it looks too much like a Camaro... and I’m not at all a Camaro fan.
