thanks, appreciate the feedback. I couldn't agree more, most leather steering wheels don't age well, which is exactly why i prefer the CF. Carbon Cartel pricing is pretty reasonable compared to the other options out there.

After sitting in my garage for about a month, I finally got around to getting the Carbon Cartel wheel installed.

I chose the flat top and flat bottom wheel, but decided against getting the carbon trim insert. Didn't like the look when you have 2 mismatched carbon fiber pieces next to each other. It's hard to get it right unless the weave is the same, and flowing in the same direction.

The heating function was disconnected since the new wheel doesn't support it.

Probably not a big deal in TX, but in Montana I’m not doing anything that disables the heated steering wheel. I’m getting soft as I get closer to 40!

Looks good man, and for the guys looking for heated... for the low low price of $2,100, you can have one!

I’d hold off on this. I bought one of these during the group buy back in November, and the manufacturer that off-road alliance did the buy through still hasn’t gotten it right. I believe they’re working on their 4th attempt at getting my wheel built properly right now.

On the plus side, the guys over at off-road alliance have been absolutely amazing, and have bent over backward to try and get the manufacturer to get his head out of his ass, but it hasn’t happened yet.

You would think with these problems and this forum that they'd be bending over backwards to fix them.

they don't care... trying to get my order from them was like pulling teeth. then no contact after delivery. they provided me with tracking... that became trackable 2 weeks after... this was over a month after the order was placed.
