GEN 2 What is the cut off date for model year???

I have a late production oct 2018 Rqptor sold as a 2018, however I noticed some late 18s are actually 2019 model years, I am confused as to what ford did to differentiate a 2018 model year truck from a 2019 when they could have been made in the same month. For example, October or November

The big difference in this scenario would be the 2019 would have the Fox live shocks.

There would have been a cutoff in the middle of the month when they switched over production. They wouldn’t have made the 2018s and 2019s at the same time.

Mine was produced the first week of the 19 production.

Mine was produced in August of 2018 which is kind of late for a 2018 but I guess not unheard of. Usually they are a model year refresh and anything made after the middle of the year is a 1/2 model year. Just unusual but not unheard of I guess.

Model year switch occurs in late September up to early October.

That is what I am interested in knowing, so I do have one of the last 18s yatwere made for that year. Thanks
