The passengers side does fold down. Allowing someone to get to the jack.
Correct, that’s not the point he was making. We all know the passenger side (40%) folds down easily.

Most people don’t realize that the DRIVER side (60%) also can fold down, but the latch is difficult to get to. And his procedures refer to how to get the DRIVER side down; he just mistakenly called it the passenger side.

If you have a panorama sunroof and don't want to have to hold the button. Give it a double-tap. (like double-clicking a mouse) and it will do the work for you. You can double tap again to get it to open just that last little bit too. Then double-tap to close.

Here's a handful more additional features that are nice to know.

Passenger side rear seat fold down - the rear seat on the passenger side does fold down. That gives you access to the subwoofer and amp, if equipped. It's difficult to release. You must first fold up the seat cushion, then pull up on the lever behind the seat back. It's difficult to find but impossible with average sized hands if you don't put the seat up first. After fishing for it for years on my previous F-150s I finally bought the "Sportfish Rear Seat Release for Ford SuperCrew" off Amazon. Currently, it's $14. that offers a strap, similar to the built-in jack access release on the passenger side. It can be handy if you need to hide something, like the keys, behind the back seat.

This just pissing me off. This is a BuiltRight knockoff that took Matt’s idea and completely disregarded his patent because China gives a rat ass and copies American products. Then to have you on here promoting this ********. Support the guy who designed it and is made in the USA. Yeah, his might be higher in price but we own trucks that are above average and we can afford $30 and not have to go cheap to support a knockoff company who cares less. Get real and think about posting crap like this. You became a member here two days ago, geez.

BTW: I own BuiltRight products and look forward to the new products that Matt brings to the table for us to use. I was one of the first to buy his backseat release and was a thread here on FRF several years ago.

I didn't realize Builtright originated the design. I changed my post to reflect pointing folks to that brand as I'm fully in support of ingenuity. There's a lot on the forum and it's posts like this that help us find the 'best' and right products for various applications.
