Hi all

Grabbed a new set of struts and shocks and slapped em on. A month or so later i noticed one shock was dirty up by the reservoir. Just assuming it was something from the road i cleaned it off only to find it there again a few weeks later. This shock defective or is it nothing to worry about?

Rock auto. Sending it back. Anyone have a problem with them getting a refund?

Better contact them sooner than later, because there is usually a date from purchase return policy that comes into play. Also, since it was already installed... not sure if they will honor a return. Please update us when you find out!

I’ve bought from rock auto before and they wouldn’t take returns without being in original packaging and that was for a part that they sent me that was the wrong part number. Ended up eating it cause there was nothing I could do. Hopefully they are better with warranty’s then new returns.

I got mine in the mail the other day. Still need to get them on. The Rockauto website states 24 month warranty on this item. Glad all is well.
