Live Valve revalve?

As the post suggests, has anyone had their Live Valve shocks valved for their liking over how it comes from the dealer? If anyone out there wants to look into it, I may be interested in being a test mule.

Im surprised nobody has tried to revalve their OEM Live Valve shocks for better handling. Still might consider it very soon if I find the right guy.

They're serviceable and revalveable..u have to buy either the fox fill tool for them or re thread a schrader valve into them so u can charge the nitrogen..problem lies with foxs style of internal bypass, they just have holes drilled into there inner body so the fluid can come out and around the piston. I didn't like the 5 holes holes drilled onto the bottom so that it pretty much free bled the rebound valveing making the rebound way to soft for my liking.. i had revalved my 17 shocks which made a little difference but not much due to the major bypass valveing was done with those holes, and the rebound was just non existent. I went with kings 3.0 and it rode sooo much better right out of the box . Those with live valve shocks will have to get that damper interface devise or live valve delete

Thanks for the reply. You are correct, the rebound needs work. For my liking, I was wanting both, rebound and added compression. I really dont want to spend 7k on the sweet fox factory deals that work for the live valve. Im going to sit on it for the moment until I keep looking around. I would be ok with adding some compression at least if the price was right and it was someone I had faith in, including putting schraeder valves in the bodies.
