My problem is that I have to suck up so close to the wall that I can't see the ground in the rear view camera and I knew it was a matter of time before I over judged it by 3 inches and there goes the wall and my bumper.

Yep. I have a little rope hanging from the ceiling which is placed to touch my stubby antenna when I'm in the right spot. Every day is like the docking scene in Apollo 13.

Well, my big problem is the depth of my garage. I may have an inch or so to spare if get it just right, but not worth the effort.

This is my truck in the garage. I have pool noodles on the back wall and back in untill i touch them. there is 1 inch to spare between the bumper and the door. just right, and that effprt is always worth it to not park outside.

"standard" 7 foot door. Had to buy a stubby antenna to fit without hitting every time.

Thanks everyone for your reply. The one I'm looking at is slightly modded, but I'm not sure if it's raised a bit more than factory. The dealer is letting me test drive it back to my house to test fit :rotflmao:

topical thread as I’m remotely checking out houses with garages that are far too often, woefully inadequate. Most have single bay doors that are only wide enough with mirrors closed. It prompted me to get some measurements today and I need

6’7” tall or about 79”
87” wide at the wheel wells or 99” wide mirrors out
240” long

mine fits in the garage by itself.

two car garage less than a foot front and back left. about 4 inches in height left.

Just measure yours.

Personally, I would be pissed if I had to park it outside 24/7

interesting.

I have a tennis ball attached to a cord attached to the ceiling.

I put it dead center. So I know when pulling in where center is, and when i hit the ball with the windshield it's parked perfectly.

easy
