Educate me on wheels...

Hey all,
I'm thinking about getting new wheels and don't even know where to start. I'll want to run my stock tires on them, just want something that looks cooler than the factory. I know next to nothing about offsets, etc. basically just what I've seen browsing posts on here.
I see posts about tires rubbing on fenders lots of other issues since the offset on a Raptor isn't a common one (right???).
Anyway, I've got a '19 SCREW that I won't be offroading much, mostly up the mountain skiing, which I do quite a bit, or the thousands and thousands of unpaved county roads and old logging roads up my corner of northeast WA. I'm wanting something that looks cool but won't be too much of a pain to clean the road sand from in the winter. Any advice is much appreciated

Here's an option I did. I had the stock wheels powder coated.

Stock wheels rub at full articulation so that will be a thing no matter what.

VenomRex. Lightweight, flow forged, Raptor specific. Talk to @Nick@Apollo-Optics, sale going on right now last I looked on 20"s but, they have 17"s if you're wanting to stay with the stock tires. I have the VenomRex 602 20" in Carbon Graphite on mine.

Who's got a quick explanation for offsets, backspacing, etc.. I've spent most of the last 25 years on ship's and only home about 4 months a year. I've always left my vehicles stock so starting with the basics would be great. I'm the chief engineer on the ship so we don't need to get so basic as the difference between which is the wheel and which is the tire but.........

My internet is very slow and spotty as its going through a satellite and my access to many .com's is limited by the company's filters for their servers. Video attachments aren't viewable because the data is so slow it'd take days to download. Same with streaming, its a no-go.

Wow, that looks great! I think that's the route I'll be going! I like the look of the stock wheels okay, just think the color is boring. What did Rappy Graphics do for the center caps?

I already spoke to the OP in PM's, but for anyone else reading, Rappy is making an overlay for the silver bar that goes across the stock center caps that will match body color and say "FORD" on it like stock. They should be inbound to me now. I'll definitely post pics. They will be adding it to their site. I think it will look good on the dark wheels to have a little color splash that matches the body color.

I'd be glad to help go over options and explain fitments to you. But with your info posted below it seems like you want something close to factory offset to not give you too much crud running down the sides during the winter time. If that's the case, I suggest ALPHAequipt wheels. They're a 17x8.5 +25 offset wheel so they only stick out 9mm more than stock and they have multiple designs to choose from.
