I’m looking to order a 2020 Raptor SCrew with the 800A.

My big issue is what exactly does the 8 way power driver’s seat include? I can’t seem to find anything about it online. What is the difference between the 8 and the 10 way?

Also, does the 800A still get the half digital gauge cluster with all the different informational pages?

Id appreciate any insight you can give on this package. The Ford website and brochures leave a lot to be desired.

Thanks.

i believe with the 10 way seats you pick up power adjustable back tilt.

800 has a small 4 inch gauge screen and the secondaries are mechanical, the info is the same.

802 is over priced but its well worth it. i was seriously looking at getting an 800, and put an offer on one, but went 802 as there is a lot left to be desired even with 801. im glad i spend the extra money for the upgrades. im not a tech person and i thought some of the stuff was a gimmick at first but there is so much convenient stuff in 802 especially if you are gonna daily drive it. if you can swing the added cost i would seriously weigh your options and some stuff you will option in 800 is standard in 802.

The 801A gets you BLIS and cross traffic detection, which is well worth it, IMO. The Ford website actually obscures that you get this with 801A, probably to push people into 802A. The heated seats are nice in places that have winter. The tailgate applique is a minor annoyance. I don't much like how it looks and lots of dust gets behind it. When you wash it, it's hard to get it all out and it ends up drooling down the bottom of the tailgate. I also got the Torsen, which I liked in soft sand, the tailgate step, which I thought I would like but ended up not being worth bothering with, and the remote start, which I thought was silly, but ended up kinda liking. The only features of 802A that I didn't get but would like to have are the dual zone climate control, the power folding mirrors, and the universal garage door opener. $7,000 is a lot to pay for those.

Is it possible to upgrade to the larger screen via the aftermarket?

I test drove an 802A, and aside from the ventilated seat, memory seats, the sound system, and the front camera, I could care less. Those are luxury items to me. These things have too many bells and whistles for an off road truck.

not sure if the bigger screen is a direct replacement but i bet it would be expensive to upgrade. for what it would probably cost to upgrade the screen you should probably go 801 as they added the bigger screen in 801 for 2020.

If you’re married get whatever Package has dual climate control. That option saves more marriages than Dr. Phil :)

That said, I have the 802A Package, and never thought I’d like all the creature comforts it comes with. Blind Spot Monitoring, Adaptive Cruise, and Memory Seats come to mind. Again, all creature comforts you don’t really need, but it’s pretty nice.

Yes you can , I did " clusters by dave" will make it happen. I first installed navi, then purchased the cluster to get navigation on the cluster. You can add power fold mirrors as well. Really you can add anything.

I have a 19 800A and the seat is manual tilt.
As for the gauges, you can change to the 802A screen for ~1K, but you can select a single gauge with the 800a, I think I read that with forscan you can change that option to a dual gauge. If you want to watch your trans temp., you can do that easily.

The AC is a big difference, no climate control at all, just manual settings.

Also the radio is pretty bad.

These things mean nothing to me, I love my 800A.

My wife has an 800a and I have an 801a. Her 800a is awesome. Hers is a ‘20 and mine is a ‘17. Her dash is the same as mine, but has way more info available. Get the 800a and don’t look back!

As others have said, the difference in the seat is the power v manual back angle.
