Hi All -

I have a 17 SCREW 802a (sony). Just ordered speakers to upgrade the 4 doors -

JL c2-690tx for fronts - https://www.jlaudio.com/products/c2-690tx-car-audio-speakers-c2-speaker-systems-99619

JL c2-650x for rears - https://www.jlaudio.com/products/c2-650x-car-audio-speakers-c2-coaxial-systems-99618

These are getting installed this week, but now I am looking at also upgrading the sub. I don't want to do a lot of customizing for fits and all that and I know that JL makes Stealthboxes for specific fits. I am looking at both:

JL Stealthbox with 2 12" TW3's - https://www.crutchfield.com/p_13694661/JL-Audio-Stealthbox.html

JL Stealthbox with 1 13" TW5 - https://www.crutchfield.com/p_13694462/JL-Audio-Stealthbox-Black.html

Seeing if there's any suggestions or anyone with experience in either one to get some feedback.

Thanks in advance!

The two 12s will certainly play louder. What's nice about having multiple subs is you can also play them at lower volume but have more bass output compared to a single sub. With a single sub you have to play it loud to get decent bass and that can be annoying at times. I'm always cheaper than Crutchfield so let me know if you want a quote via PM.
