fwiw I have deaver+4 and my rear fender measurement is 42”
I have around 400lbs in the bed
also the front sits at 42 1/2” with kings
so there are lots of variables that affect heights

Just got the 3.0 king and for the money they want for the rear oem king I got a 16" 4 tube bypass 3.5" king and now with the +3 and an extended shackle ill get around 17-18 inches of travel. Just had to buy a bed cage/shock tower

Lol..leaf springs are going to grind against each other in the pack..the rust will always be there especially in damp climate.. some manufacturers offer powder coating them but that will even wear off over time..don't know who makes icon springs for them but deaver and national wouldn't have the reputation they have if they hadn't earned it i dont think..my deaver pack is kind of rusty but I just ran the factory black paint coat that they came with..they looked like they were dipped in sum really thick black paint when I got them.

well, If youre buying leaf springs for how they look, keep the factory ones.

I've broken one set of icons and bent another.

Ive also ran a set of deavers until they sagged to lower than stock with no breakage.

Leaf springs are a wear item. The more you beat on em, the more they fatigue.

I've yet to have an issue with deaver. I'm now running a +3HD and they stand up just fine.

If youre that worried about how they look, spray them with wd40 every few weeks.

How much lift did you get from the +3HD with no load? I saw someone claim 2" over stock, is that right? Seems like it should be only 1" if their labeling system is consistent, but they might be assuming some constant load. I'm thinking Eibachs and Deavers, but I want to maintain some rake empty so that I don't sit like a toad when I load up.
