It's been one year since I replaced the shocks on my Raptor and this is how it sits at the moment. I've put 32k miles on these shocks driving on every type of road surface from dirt to cement. I haven't driven the truck off-road per say but I have driven on some muddy rutted dirt roads and these shocks have performed flawlessly. No catastrophic failures to report thus far. No complaints from me, the truck rides and drives great. Never intentionally jumped!

Did you use a kit? If so what one.

No, there is no kit. I suggest you use the search function, there are a few threads on the subject so you can educate yourself about the pro's and con's and go from there.

Just guessing (assumed that the GEN 2 shocks are longer than the GEN 1s) ¿So running say 3+ Deavers and an extended say a 2+ shackle, will net you a longer useable travel than a stock set up on the GEN 1?? ¿Effectively increasing your travel length without needed an aftermarket kit?

I like where you’re going with that! Just don’t forget longer brake lines. I installed the ICONs on my 2012 and went with +4” longer brake lines so there’s no binding at full droop.

Ditto...that was goin to be my thought also...needing additional length on the brake lines.
