Hey Nick,

Someone in a recent post stated he had installed the Magnaflow crossover muffler and resonator delete, then states he used just straight pipes. Do you offer a similar set up? Not sire what je means by straight pipes if he installed just a muffler with the resonator delete....but I am interested in a similar soumd for my 2020 Screw. Thoughts??

I'm not quite understanding. Do you have a link to that post you can share? Perhaps he uninstalled the muffler and just had an exhaust shop weld in some straight pipes in its place? We offer the AWE 2FG which is a muffler delete setup, but it uses and H pipe vs straight pipes.

I will have to search for that post...not sure what thread it was on. It was posted May 11th by “Sethrab”? but can’t seem to find it right now. I would like to stick with the Magnaflow setup. I hear that the sound is nice and deep, with less “rasp” and annoying volume.

Nick... here is that post I was talking about. “Sethrab” never did respond when asked if he had used the d-fit muffler. I would like to have a deeper sound without the “wake up your neighbor” loudness and certainly want as little or no rasp as possible. Leaning towards Magnaflow and then adding the resonator. Not sure if I should jist keep the stock one or replace it. Thoughts? Here is the post.....

When I did my 2018 Raptor a few months back, I had the opportunity to A/B a few different exhausts at the same time. The shop wanted to hear the difference and so did I. We A/B’d Borla, Flowmaster, Magnaflow and a few others. The deepest and heartiest sound, by a fair margin was the Magnaflow. The Borla was the raspiest by far. We did the final install with a resonator delete, just the cross flow Magnaflow muffler and straight pipes. I replaced the air filter with a K&N Raptor setup. Sounds great. Feels like it runs a hair quicker.

I think he is talking about the magnaflow catback system. I believe the actual muffler is the same but the catback deletes the stock resonator and replaces the tail pipes.

I would think removing the stock resonator would increase the volume quite a bit.

Yeah that’s possible. I want the deeper sound but not sure I lose the resonator. If I remove the stock one, I’ll replace with the magna flow or borla resonators. Still not sure which way to go on the exhaust. Probably just mid-pipes with muffler and use resonator in place of X-pipes.

I believe that @TRMFAM is correct that the previous poster was looking at the Street Series Cat-Back options from Magnaflow and not the D-Fit Muffler setup.

Have you considered the Corsa Sport Muffler replacement that keeps the OEM resonator?

I have heard that the corsa is just too loud and raspy. I'm sure with the stock resonator still in place that the raspiness would be less offensive but I’m still wondering if the overall sound would be to my liking versus the Magnaflow or Borla S type? I hear Magnaflow is one of the deepest sounding “rumbles”.

The Corsa systems don't rasp or drone. Perhaps you're thinking of Borla?

Here's a video we made of Corsa exhausts for the for the Raptor that shows the 3 different available sound options:

Hey Nick,

thanks for the videos. I do like the sound...just worried about being too loud. You mentioned the Corsa sport muffler replacement and keeping the stock resonator? What are you impressions on that set up? Deeper sound than stock but a touch louder I suppose? Can you share a link with pricing for that...those options from your shop? Thanks
