Yesterday was a pretty awesome day for me as the truck was finally picked up from the dealership. Its now on its way across the entire country to my house.

I spent a lot of time on here reading and reviewing different shipping company recommendations. I ended up going with Montway Shipping. The process with them finding a shipper was honestly very easy. Even from outside the US, coordination with them was timely and they were accommodating to my situation. I’ve never shipped a vehicle before so I had a lot of questions and they were able to answer them all. We agreed to a certain price and they said they would find a driver within a week. Over the next week I was told several times that they found a driver to pick up my vehicle but they wanted $400 more, then $325, then $200, then $80 more to actually complete the order. Luckily for me time is not a factor so I just told them flat out that I won’t pay anything extra over the price they quoted me. They told me that if I didn’t agree to the price jump they won’t be able to find a driver, it can take weeks longer, it won’t get there on time, blah blah blah. After the last shakedown where they told me they would most likely cancel my order because the price was too low to ship my truck, I magically got an email 2 minutes after hanging up. It was an invoice with the exact price I was quoted to begin with and included confirmation from the actual shipping company. I wasn’t too pleased to see this kind of tactic used because had I been in a different situation, I would have been out an additional $400 thinking that i HAD to pay it to get my vehicle on time. I'm hoping that sharing this will give others a little insight into the process so they have a heads up when a shipping company tries to gouge them on price right before the vehicle is about to move. If i could have, i would have went with Uship based off the reviews ive seen.

Next "mod" on the list before the truck left the deaelrship was to have them remove the rear bedside graphics and then correct the paint underneath.

Deciding on decals has been something I’ve gone back and forth on hundreds of times. What I ended on was deciding to go for an all matte black decal scheme. Here was the order I placed from RappyGraphics last week which just showed up at the house.

Steering Wheel Overlay – Raptor wording – Leadfoot Color

Solid Color Taillight Demon Eyes – Matte Black / Non Reflective

B-Pillar Overlay Set – Matte Black

Demon Eyes 1.0 Solid Color w/ No Script Cutout – Matte Black

Raptor Badge Applique Inlay – Matte Black / Non Reflective

Triple Play Applique Package – Matte Black / Non Reflective

Matt at Rappy Graphics was awesome to work with and he allowed me to make some custom changes. I had asked for the Raptor Badge Overlay be made in Matte Black Reflective unlike the rest of the package. My idea was to add just a subtle little difference in the outline of the word Raptor. Most won’t notice at all, but I think it’s a good way to highlight the wording on the tailgate. I really cant wait to get it all on the truck and see if it comes together the way im picturing it.

Finally completed the last step of my 10 year dream. The truck showed up at the house and i couldnt be more thrilled!! She got a quick bath before being put in the garage which is full of mods that im very anxious to have the time to install. Quick update for those who were wondering about the painted to match Leadfoot fender flares. After the dealership agreed they needed a repaint to match better, the final product came out about as perfect as one could ask for when matching a two year old truck. Its very difficult to notice any difference in the paint job now and im very happy with it.

Here is a list of whats arrived so far and on-deck to be installed:

The next items to add to the build are mostly small odds and ends type products. After scouring the forums for mods that others have done and enjoyed, i built a list of what i thought was important to add to the truck. If anyone has any other smaller mods like these that they consider "must have" items, id love to hear about them. Here is whats been ordered and on the way...
