No. The Duratrac is 61ish pounds (according to manufacturers specs) and is one of the lightest tires you can buy in size 315/70/17. KO2 is 65 pounds. OEM Bealocks with KO2 is well over 100+ pounds.

Nice looking wheels !

Why go with such a heavy tire ? I think the factory KO2's with factory forged fake bead lock wheels are the same weight.

Thanks for the correction and reminder to get some better wheels. Unsprung rotating mass delete's a great way to improve performance.

Awesome looking truck.
It's nice to see someone out there lol like me when it comes to doing the research to get just what you are looking to achieve. I went through 3 sets of new wheels on my Jeep until I was finally happy the look I was after and with the overall weight combination and with it having a magnesium tailgate that flexed severely with a 35" spare on it.

It's insane the amount of tire and wheel combinations that are out there not to mention what you can have made. I remember when your choice was white, black or chrome wagon wheels and there was no internet to see how they looked in advance.

The traction isn't as good. Even if the KO2's were lighter I'd still choose the Duratracs for terrain and environmental factors.

I agree ... with my hubs all cleaned up and primed they don't half bad. I need to paint the hubs now to protect them from any possible rust issues.

I removed the center caps on my Gen 1 Methods and on my Gen 2 Fuel Trophys. I paint the hubs every time I rotate my wheels with Matte Black so they stay clean and match the color of the wheels. I also use the black spline lugs so everything blends together.

The Raptor is the first truck I have not had center caps and like others have said, it will grow on you with time. I tried the Fuel center caps, but I quickly removed them as I now prefer the no-cap look.

PS. The table in the second pic is our Covid cleaning table for groceries. ;)

Interesting weight difference, a comparison between a C rated tire and a D rated tire and the C rated is heavier.

Every little bit counts. Did they have any balancing issues with them? When I went to 35" BFG KM3`s we had to rotate the tire on the rim several times to get the lowest amount of wheel weights

It is unusual for a D rated tire to be lighter than a C. This is the only case where I know this is true.

And there were no balancing issues. In my 1st post I even list what amount of weights was required to balance each wheel/tire:

- Titan7 T-AK1 w/Duratracs: 83 (3.25oz to balance), 84.2 (1.5oz), 84.2 (4oz) and 84.35 (2.75oz) pounds
