If the TRX has the suspension to back up that hellcat engine it's going to take a lot of potential Raptor owners IMO. Looks like out of the box it will have a better rear end than what we currently have. I've seen some of the spy photo's for the new Raptors that are supposed to get the newer style suspension but I highly doubt we are going to see a V8 anytime soon in the Raptor.

Then the Raptor will either get better or come down in price.

That TRX option will be a $90k truck. or more just to start. Go price a Jeep Track Hawk.

Not Raptor competition. You can still get a "Raptor" with all the basic off road parts for under $60k.

If Ford is to ever offer a SC V8, it will be a one off program and push $100k, but again.....not a Raptor competitor.

Face it, if you have $60k-$75K to spend on a truck, and you want to do any off roading. Raptor is what you are buying.

Spend less, you get the TRD PRO or Dodge. Spend more.....we wait and see for those results.

$90k k is a lot of scratch...puts it out of reach of most people who like to "off road" in an out of the box truck........and those who do any serious off roading or overlanding know, that much HP is not needed and the reliability would not be worth the risk.

Just my opinion of course.

I think the TRX looks good and I hope its a great competitor to the raptor.

But I have doubts about when it will actually be delivered, what the specs will be and at what price point!

Agreed. if it's above 550HP, they will be limited to malls and red-light drag races or to "hard core off-roaders running 40psi" screaming "POWER"

I do like me some side exhaust and the vent hood. Other than that, I'm out.
