Hi Everyone,

Thanks for reaching out and we apologize for any trouble. Since last posting we had a couple of folks with the newer trucks bring up some variances in their hoses when compared to ours. It appears Ford made a mid-cycle update to some trims which moved the location and changes one of the connections on the PCV sensor. As that is the case, we're working on a direct solution for this kit with our production team to make sure you won't run into any issues regardless of spec. If you have one of these kits and run into any trouble, please reach out to our customer service team directly and we'll be happy to help. At the moment, we have some different hoses we can provide which allows you to use the sensor and existing quick connect-assembly which should be all that needs to be swapped. If you run into a CEL after installation, we recommend clearing the code and resetting the ECU by disconnecting the battery for about 10 minutes. The newer trucks can be a bit sensitive to change, but by resetting everything and allowing the ECU to re-learn things with the cans installed sets a new baseline that should prevent that CEL.

Have asked but never had answered the following:

What advantage does a dual catch can well over $400 have over the JLT at about 1/3 of the price? Is there that much of an advantage to merit the significant cost difference?

Thanks for reaching out and we apologize for any delay in getting back to you.

When comparing our kit with other brands, there's always going to be a few variables between the setups. Our dual-can system is the result of our in-house and real-world testing showing that the newer V6 EcoBoost engines experience high levels of blowby from both the PCV and CCV sides of the ventilation system. Some other setups may provide a single-can option for one side or the other, and we do as well for other vehicles if we find that having a full installation of both cans is not efficient or worth the benefit. Due to the level of fluid and contamination we saw with our test trucks, we opted for the full setup to provide the most optimized filtration. While a kit may exist that's about half the price of ours, if it's just one can, it's also half the component parts ours offers and likely only offers half the protection of our setup. Full details on our kits' performance can be found on our product pages and engineering blog, which our New Castle, DE-based production team posts and moderates. Production and testing details, as well as direct feedback with the R&D team members, is something other brands may not have publicly available if they record testing data at all.

Our kits also use direct-fit connectors, molded OEM-style lines, and brackets that do not require cutting or drilling for a clean and hassle-free installation with a factory-like finish. The EcoBoost/Raptor kits also use application-specific, high-volume cans which limit the frequency of emptying, and are optimized for the airflow and line size for the engine. Some other kits only offer extended volume cans as an extra-cost option, if at all. Our catch cans also have compatibility with optional drain kits such as our part/model number MMBCC-DRAIN-02, which makes maintenance much quicker, an option that not all competitors offer either.

The main difference in our kits, when compared to competitors', is frequently our Lifetime Warranty for manufacturing defects. If you encounter any issues with the catch cans, brackets, hardware, hoses, or any other components, we're happy to work with you to make sure we keep you on the road trouble-free. Unlike most other manufacturers, we do not require any items shipped back to us for inspection before approving a warranty claim, we just ask that you submit the claim information online via our site and we work with you to set up a replacement order to get brand new components on the vehicle, limiting hassle, cost, and downtime.

I have the same problem with my 2018. I have been sent the other set of hoses but the cel came on after approx 400 miles. I tried to reset ECU but that did not work. I was told by my dealer tech that if the hose is too long the sensor will read that the pressure is too low and throw the cel. I would like a fix for this.

I have tried emailing support and got a response that they are working on it. It’s been some time now and haven’t heard anything else. The light comes on over half throttle. I have got tired of resetting the light and reverted the driver side back to stock. Is there a fix?
