How do you like the windows on the Z? Enough ventilation?

I have no problems with air flow and the screens keep the bugs out. When the temps are really hot I have a camping fan that I put in the front sliding window that keeps a good airflow. Since my Z top has the fold down front window I’m thinking of making a screen that I can use with the window folded down. I ordered mine with all the options and talked the dealer down to $ 2500 installed. I have to admit I did bug him pretty good on price for a month. I’m sure he was glad to get me out of his world.

I can't fit in the garage anyway since I have a tent up there that you can't see in the picture. First World problems, eh?

I was going to build a garage 40 x 50 with a electric lift, wash pit drain and ac and heat. I have enough property so no problem there. But the real world problems showed it’s ugly face, best price $60.000.

You ain’t getting up to the Arctic Circle twice, camping and having all your gear secured, all while bombing through roads at 80-90 mph in a Suburban. So actually it makes a lot of sense....

I got a Go Fast Camper for my Gen 2 that I am picking up in a couple of weeks. Enjoy Starbucks for me :)

Just looked up the go fast camper...a high strength tube frame bed cap with a tent on top that has modular bedding options...super cool! $7k seems accurately priced

Here’s my 19 with a Leer 100XQ Sport and Thule Aerobars... Mountain bikes inside, kayak on top.
My wife has a Yukon XL. This is way more practical for luggage and toys!9e121b0daec5d8f266859deac4714c2b.jpg

Looks amazing!
How's the quality of Leer cap?
I've seen cheaper models and weren't really impressed with the hardware as it seemed a little weak compared to are.

I’ve owned 2 Leer 100xq’s. See my pic #5 on this post. Had some paint issues from manufacturer initially with this one, local dealer got Leer to have it completely repainted by local body shop.
I love the looks and functionality.
I keep my dog kenneled back there frequently. I have the removable window option.

I love it. Best looking one out there imo. Its electric lock is wired to the vehicle locks so it’s locked whenever the tailgate is. I have the sliding removable front glass so I can clean everything. Two interior LED lights that come on automatically when I lift the hatch. I put in a full bedrug to match the liner and it’s real plush.
There is a little water comes in somewhere near the tailgate during automatic touchless car washes. I’ve never located where from, but the rug gets damp despite me having a highly recommended tailgate seal.
I read somewhere that the roof rails can only take 175lbs which is a little disappointing as I would have liked to try a rooftop tent some day.
100% would recommend to anyone.
