That is interesting.
I find them excellent in the wet, in all directions.
They stick way better then they have any right to.
In the dry as well.

I went with the Yokohama Geolander MT's in 35x12.5.17, Load Range E and yes, they are louder as one would expect. The truck isn't as sure-footed as it was with the stock KO2's which did admirably well in every condition I put them through - mud, snow/ice - accessing cell towers.

I haven't really had a chance to test out the MT's off-road much since I was laid off a week after putting them on the truck back in late January.

I’m with you. I’ve heard people talk about poor wet weather but I have not had any issues with them in the wet. My only problem with the KO2s is how much louder they get as they start to wear, but that seems to be pretty common across all brands.

I admit what I'm asking of the tires may be beyond what's reasonable for an AT on pavement with an unloaded bed. K02s are scapegoatin' because I don't have anything else to complain about.

I find the KO2's to be reasonably quiet for a fairly aggressive all terrain. Anything much quieter will look like a highway tire not an all terrain.

I have no issues with their noise when new or nearly new. Just when they start to wear.

maybe your air pressure is too high? That would impact the contact patch for sure.

Even the stock ones rub at full articulation.

Same here. I live in the mountains above the desert and I think they do quite well in all conditions around me. Even in wet slushy snow they do great. After climbing the hills in Raptor Assault in don’t think I will question there tired choice. As for the load range the stock truck’s shock are tuned for the softer load range c tires (I was told they are 6ply vs the E Range which are 10 ply) and find they MUCH smoother over washboards deflated to 26/22 psi. Depending on use of truck and amount of modifications tire experience will vary widely. In the high desert with the occasional winter snow I haven’t found a better tire ( I go through a set every 11 months being predominantly mountain driving so I have more tire experience than most; looking at 4th set for Rap with 40k).

I will also add the following details:
5k miles, 38 psi, Sport mode always when on road.
The bed is empty.
Although perhaps the cover is providing a lot of downforce.
You know...like the old Rams with the spoilers on the back.
