Did you ever try putting it in 4wd then back to 2wd to see if would go away? That same sound happens to me randomly every few weeks, replaced check valve 2 weeks ago and suddenly today same sound came back but goes away after putting in 4wd. Will be replacing Solenoid then testing iwe if it comes back

Yup, that's the tell tale sign of the IWE issue I think. If you move into 4A you should notice the sound go away (however, mine got to the point where it wouldn't!).

The dealership called me and said they were gonna "replace the vacuum system" on my truck since it keeps coming back despite the frequent solenoid replacements.

These issues with the raptor are incredible I bought a 17 used last August 2019 and since then have had to replace the manifold gasket the valve cover gaskets! The rear main seal the oil Pan all of this has failed over a 12000 mile ownership, ECU's going in-and-out of limp mode now it's the IWE, I know only because my last F150 had the same symptom then again there's also the sunroof failing numerous times what happened to Ford's Q C? To really put it in perspective my wife's jaguar XF has had 5% of the problems the raptor has had and it's a jag for God's sake

2018 Screw, push to start button cracked. Otherwise, not one other issue with the truck, 29,000 miles now.

2018 with 15,000 miles, lots of mods and zero issues. Had it into the dealer twice for oil and had them do one of the safety recalls even though it was not causing me any problems.

Any car is a crapshoot, so the Raptor is no different.

Sounds more like dealership service and/or used vehicle issues rather than factory issues. Buying used is a risk with any vehicle, but performance vehicles like the Raptor are known to be rode hard and put away wet. There is no common issue with the "manifold gasket" or valve cover gasket, period. In regards to "manifold", are you referring to intake or exhaust? I've never seen a real main seal leak on these engines regardless of mileage; are you sure that was the proper diagnosis?

"ECUs" don't go "in and out of limp mode" as you describe unless there is an underlying issue such as aftermarket components or tuning. Also, how does a sunroof "fail"? I'm all about helping anyone with their concerns, but your post makes you sound like you're just here to complain.
