You better contact svc. Why would they send you a relocation bracket when you can’t use it. And what happens when you don’t plug in the sensor? Will you get a warning light on the dash?

The way the bracket attaches to the top mount of the intercooler bracket when you try to align it vertical the plug pushes against the intercooler. I don’t see how it can be adjusted any other way.

I will contact them on Monday but I’ve been driving without one since I installed my bolt on and it’s no big deal. A warning pops up when you start the car. Press ok and it disappears.

Yup, atmospheric blow off. They will send you a plug if you ask. I left mine off, I like the minor but obvious blow-off sound. ACC bracket does relocate at the top of the intercooler, you will most likely need to take it to ford so they can readjust the sensor, but it never works the same. I never used the ACC anyway. Too dangerous.

I called the Ford dealer by my house and they said they will not recalibrate the ACC unless it is in the factory location. (Liability issues if you crash) You might have better luck, but I did some minor adjustments on mine after installing the FullRace IC and their relocation bracket. It works most of time and when it fails, I stop using it until the next time I stop and start the truck. Kind of aggravating, but not a show stopper.

@Raptor911 Watched the same youtube video... in slow motion haha. My son saw the ACC was bolted in front of the bracket instead of behind and that gave us enough room for the ACC to plug in. Then I had to take it apart so my neighbor could cut my frame, put it back together - way easier the 2nd time lol . Now just cutting up my grill. Definitely a tight fit! These mods are like a right of passage.

So funny. I too watch those damn videos in slow motion. Please post some photos as the more info out there will help others decipher the puzzle as SVC does not provide instructions. I should write detail instructions with videos and images and sell it to SVC.

The issues now is that once you every thing buttoned up and then go for a drive, you may have some errors with the ACC sensor and then you may have to take apart the grill to adjust the sensor. GRRRRR!

I would imagine what you were told is completely true. Dealerships are strange, I think they get to wake up each day and choose to say and do whatever they want to. Thank god my dealership is amazing. Theodore Robbins in Costa Mesa. Re-adjusted everything, drove it around, continued to make minor adjustments, and it works, Not like it did from the factory, but it works. I still dont like it.
