If you're using a dongle with a switch:
  1. I bought a USB adapter with a toggle switch but FORScan only finds a few modules. How can I fix this?

    1. go into FORScan settings, connection tab and change "MS-CAN Support" to "HS/MS Switch"

    2. connect to your truck again in FORScan but click no when it brings up your VIN profile (the toggle switch needs to be in the HS-CAN position when you connect)

    3. it should then find a few modules and then prompt you to flip the toggle switch on your adapter and find the rest of the modules

    4. if it finds all modules then you can save this new VIN profile and use it on all subsequent connection attempts.Forscan Snip.PNG
For reference here's all my modules so you are missing A LOT.

Lastly, I made changes to the "AS BUILT" modules. Not sure if that explains why you're having some difficulties but it might.

"Below I show two programming examples using the advanced method. These are done in the same programming area where you made your module backups (the modules with the “AS BUILT format” listed after them."

^^^thanks.

I had already changed the forscan settings, but I needed to click on "No" to loading my truck when logging back in. Now they all show up. Everything backed up, and additional changes made.

Just got to get out on the road, and see if everything worked.

Did some Forscan tweaks.
1. Added Heated and Cool seats and steering wheel to home screen
2. Added Temperature read outs
3. Linen style folding mirrors
4. Roll up and roll down front windows controlled through key fob
5. Got rid of “fake” piped in exhaust notes

still trying to figure out how to get the auto tilt down side view mirrors while in reverse.

The reverse tilt down mirrors didn't work for me either. I need to look into it a little more tomorrow, didn't have a chance to dig into it.

One of the coolest things with this is disabling DRL's on Canadian trucks. We don't get to run around with just the orange markers like the US ones.

I ordered an OBDLink MX, if anyone in Northern AB wants me to disable their DRL's etc I could probably help you out! You can even add an option to enable it in the settings to add and remove the DRL's whenever you want.

I have a Canadian truck... how do I make it that orange maker light on

It’s us

Useless really. For it to dip, you have to hit the mirror button. It doesn’t automatically dip as designed for Lincoln.
mentioned already but worth mentioning again

I took the tip by another member and it works well:
program button 3 to dip

the only issue is it won't dip unless you're in neutral

so its not a very fluid situation

but I did find out that it will dip if I press button 3 (or preset 1 to return) just a millisecond before shifting into neutral

boom! I saved a millisecond off of my day lol

You want that? My wife's old Acura did that. It drove me absolutely nuts, I wanted to see what I was about to run into and all the mirror showed me was the ground. I felt like I was backing up with blinders on.
