Picked up a 2020 801A in Oxford with torsen, tailgate step, bedliner, and remote start today in up in Denver at invoice. It was a super easy deal, so probably I left money on the table, but I'm happy. Called at 10 and had it in the garage by 4:30. Night and day compared to Phil Long Chapel Hills, who agreed to a OTD deal at invoice and then spent the next 36 hours jerking me around, eventually backing out when I wouldn't put up with their BS. The only option I didn't want was the remote start, and that was only $200. And the best news of all - my wife loves the ride. She even mentioned that it might be the new road trip vehicle. Color me happy. And to get back on topic, the finance guy was a total car geek and he said that there will be no 2021 Raptor. I think he used terms like oversold and saturated market. According to him, Ford will take a break and try to regain the ability to sell above MSRP. Maybe he was trying to make me feel good so that I would buy something from him. It was a nice try, anyway. :)

What dealer did you buy from?

Congrats, nice to hear dealers in CO are coming down on sticker prices. I had to buy mine from San Antonio and drive it back in 2018 and I wasn’t close to invoice but the dealership made it worth my trip at the time. Lots of raptors in CO

Thanks. I usually have to go out of town to get any respect from a dealer. I think if you're local, the dealer figures he owns you. The out of town dealers often act like they're only getting one real shot at a deal. I've gotten trucks in Denver, Salt Lake City, and Tucson. A $100 plane ticket and an enjoyable drive home in a new truck isn't too high a price to pay. I was thinking I'd have to go east and south this time. I talked to AN five weeks ago about the same truck and they weren't willing to go below invoice plus $1500, so their attitude has changed. Their showroom is still closed and if I were them I'd be freaking out about the possibility that their shutdown won't lift before the rest of Colorado starts getting sick again and a new statewide shutdown occurs. It's a good time to make an offer. Their internet sales guy is named Yemane Abraham and he couldn't have been better to work with.

First, congrats on your purchase!!!
Now, when you say OTD you mean, REG + TITLE + TAX + DEALER FEES = Invoice?

That aint happening in Colorado. Sales tax is stupid. As is License fee.

No, when I say OTD, I mean the price before TTL, with is shorthand for taxes, title, and license. The state always gets their cut. I suppose OTD could be the final number, including taxes, depending on how you look at it. I was clear with Phil Long when I made the offer that it was invoice plus TTL, period. No plus, no plus plus. The price that the dealership gets, since they only pass the taxes on to the state. They decided to "misunderstand" and mess with me. Hopefully their service department is better than their sales ... they were so ham-handed at manipulating me that it only made me mad.

I've talked to AN in Littleton as well....Last they said they could do Invoice +$500. There is an outstate dealer that has a loaded 19' I am still thinking about.

Car registration in CO is brutal. 8% sales tax + $1200 to register.
