Whats up everyone, new member here since yesterday but I have been following this site for a month now as I have been shopping for a raptor. Great content on here, trying to get a great deal right now on a raptor, though i noticed most dealers and manufacturers are not offering rebates right now for raptors. I was curious on some great deals you all have had on your raptor purchases OTD price in cali, we do have a high sales tax out here, so thats why im curious about cali deals. anyways hoping to get some great feed back from anyone willing to share. ill update if and when i do end up purchasing and for how much. im sure alot of you are curious what kinda deal we can actually get right now with everything going on, i do know that cars are not selling right now, as a couple dealers have been pretty honest with me and want to get inventory off the lot. To finish it off with everything im researched and read from this great site I'm thinking if i can get 65k out the door im going to pull the trigger. 60k would be my ideal OTD price but idk if thats reasonable. let me know what you guys think. This is based on a 72k msrp 802a package.

I don't want to come across harsh but... You're crazy. 60k OTD would mean you going to by a 72k truck for around 53k before TTL? Let me know if you find one I will take 2.

Oh I didn't miss it but that still is not going to happen. 65k OTD would still mean you need to get 13k off sticker on a 2020. Ford has never and probably will never have "rebates" on Raptors so you are only getting dealer discounts (better for taxes in CA than "rebates" anyway) but to think you are going to get that discount on a Raptor it's probably best your increase your budget quite substantially or stop looking.

So let me know if you find $60k OTD for a 2020. 802a. You're not going to find that.....I think.

Chill out it was a simple question, trying to get some feedback.
Have already received some great info in my DM and pretty close to where I’m looking at.
Go take ur twitter rage out on the treadmill and not on the keyboard... don’t need that negative smoke up in here.

I'd have to agree with mtunender. Having dealt with most of the stezlers around SoCal for my 12' & my current 18' I'd say its a fantasy (a good fantasy by the way) but a fantasy all the same. I bought my 18' in AZ to get sticker! I think the best you might find is sticker OTD & that might be pushing it around here.

Note: Here's some food for thought....Some dealers may not deal at all. Let me explain.....a friend manages a smaller Chevy Dealership in SoCal and told some of us last week that they are not going to discount anymore (on new) because they are running out of cars / trucks and without the factories cranking out anymore product that they were gonna have to become a used car lot to survive! So they would rather get full pop on remaining inventory.

Good luck hope you find a Raptor!

Yea I saw that they might be holding onto them because the factories are closed. But I am talking to one dealership right now where they need to sell and am pretty close to my desired OTD price. It is a 2019 model though. It’s also out of state.
Thanks for the intel.

Call Josh Irvine at Penske Ford in La Mesa - he’s straight forward and he’ll give you a good deal - I bought mine from him in December. His number is 619-942-0553

Hard to say right now. I know that California market is much different for Raptor (more expensive) and I'd think (that dealers would want to move inventory. I hope you can get 60K, but I don't think dealers are being realistic with what is going on, and so I don't think you'll get any to bite on that. In Colorado, before COVID, my 2020, SCREW 802A etc. I got for 66.5K (73 MSRP), but different market here.

Try 60K, when they laugh at you, give them your contact info and tell them to call you when they are ready and walk out.

You can try Colorado dealers or other Midwest dealers, fly out, drive home.

What dealership did you
Go to out here? I’ve got a handful of buddies that are in the tower at a lot of dealerships and I recently left the automotive world and have not heard of anyone getting this much off here
