My dad drives a diesel one of those in the U.K. and it’s excellent. Really goes great on twisty wet roads. It’s a little small for my family otherwise I would have one in a heartbeat!

The only complaint my wife has it she wished it had more power ( which isn't typical for most wfies I have talked to) but I think ( don't quote me) the Q7 and 8 share the same motor and trans so if your wife is happy with the Q7 you honestly would be paying more just for style. Good to know, yeah she came from a Range Rover Evoque because we had our 2nd child and back seat wasnt big enough so this felt like it had a lot more power on that. And we have loved everything about the car besides this local dealership. Just very unprofessional and rude to work with. Told me to take my q7 back to the dealership we bought it from when we had it in there last fall because of a fuel hose that broke. Dumped gas all over my driveway and they did fix the problem but the next day my wife put gas in because it was basically empty and the gas gauge was just dropping by 20-30 miles until empty every couple min for her 10 mile drive to town the next day. So dropped it off again at 8am and they said they would get to work on it, my wife called and was just asking is it gonna be ready by end of the day or can we get a rental and he said some smart ass comment to her I dont recall so I went in and the car was in the exact spot I dropped it off at in the morning and they just popped the hood and let it run in the 5-10 min since she had called because it wasnt even warmed up yet so I got into it with the manager guy about it. Thats when he saw the dealership plate from Minneapolis on it and told me to take it there to get worked on
