GEN 2 Battery Monitoring System and Auto Stop/Start

i drive 1h30 ,have to drive more!

I have a 2017 that gets daily city driving, very little highway.

The stop/start quit working at about the 2yr mark. I took it to the dealer and they tested the battery and reset BMS. This worked for a while, but eventually quit until I did a long highway trip where it began working again.

It wasn’t working this past winter but I kind of ignored it because the truck was just doing short trips and not up to temp.

I now decided to put the battery on a maintainer for a night (NOCO .75 amp). It read charged in the morning and the stop/start is working again.

The battery still tests good, it appears the BMS vs stop/start is overly tight parameters.

i just noticed today that ASS is not working due to vehicle charging, even after some 20-30 minute drive times. I have mine disabled via an eliminator, but i can enable by switch. Oh well. not getting a lot of drive time recently.
