HPTuners worked like a charm. A few hours of street tuning, and it's running great. Going to have him adjust one throttle quirk, but HPTuners worked great!

Well, that's fantastic to hear.
This is the first time I've heard of HPTuners running on a Gen 1 Whippled Raptor.
May I ask if he was able to save it as a SCT file and load it on your SCT X4.
I'm asking because that is where I was having a problem years back.

I'm going to be selling the X4 anyway, but I don't think there's a way to convert the file format. I may be able to copy it off the truck with an X4, but it's not something I want to mess with now that the truck is finally running again

There is an option to save it in either format (.mpt or .cef), but I couldn't save it in either option.
So you don't have a backup option if you had to replace the Tune or return to stock.

Are you ever going to throw it on a dyno to see what you're running?

He can save the stock tune or download one from the repository or the forum, there is no restriction to how many tunes you can have with HPT.

There is no direct compatibility between SCT and HPT, SCT has most of the tables in reverse order from HPT. If you want to write an SCT tune you need their suite. They are designed for different markets, different use cases.

I might do a Dyno run when the weather cools off, but I'm not terribly interested in specific numbers anyway.

I haven't talked to Livernois. Didn't know they did custom tuning...

For what it is worth...I have a LN tune on my 2018 and I am very happy. I have ben using them since my days with my 2013 3.5EB SHO.

Not sure how they are with a SC set up, but they are well known in the EB world.

Ok, how does she feel, I mean it should be impressive!

My Torque App says it went from 0-60 in 8s to 6.5s. I was hoping to be quicker, honestly. I do have a bunch of recovery equipment in it, but I was hoping to be under 6s.
