Mine is a leadfoot 18 which I ordered in June of 17 and got it in September 17. No issues with cam phasers or oil pan.

FWIW, I bought a brand new 13 F-150 FX4 package and the water pump crapped out in a year on the 5.0 motor.

If it were me I would purchase one with the metal oil pan. My 2018 has less than 10,000 miles and is in the shop for the third time with an oil leak. This time it is the oil pan and the timing cover.

Thanks Medic 6

That's why they have a warranty. My only thought is if I had to do it over again I would buy one with a metal oil pan.

A “Corporate Vehicle” only means that someone titled the vehicle under a company name - you have nothing to be concerned with. Well, nothing more than normal.

A buddy of mine owns three investment properties so he created an LLC for tax purposes. He titles the vehicle under his LLC so he can write off the mileage. His vehicles show on CarFax as a corporate vehicle, but it’s really for private use. (But please don’t tell the IRS I said so. ;) )

Honestly I'd keep looking. I picked up my 2019 for $57K with 19K miles and included installing Ebach's springs. I tried getting them down to $56K but couldn't get it done so made them throw in the springs and installation.

I have the plastic oil pan. 13,000 miles, 18 months, no oil pan issues.

As stated earlier in the thread, 55k seems like an average price.

If you like the truck, buy the truck.

We’re they able to fix your oil leak on the timing cover? Is it on the lower left side of the cover?

I am not sure where on the timing cover the oil was leaking from. When I first discovered this leak all I saw was oil coming from the oil pan. It was probably leaking down and draining in about the same spot so it looked like one leak to me. Of course I did not pull out the lights and do a through look as I figured if I could see it without the lights they should be able to see it as well. I am told that the timing cover seal has been replaced and they are just waiting on the replacement lower oil pan. They think the parts will be here late today or tomorrow and I should get the truck back by the middle of next week.
