No, borla has their own resonator that u have to buy that replaces the x pipe in their atak kit. Thats what sucks and is the deal breaker for me with the Borla atak system. You have to buy the entire atak kit with xpipe then spend more money on their resonator to replace the x pipe that u r now stuck with. Wish they did it in a modular fashion like corsa or awe where u could buy their muffler kit then choose if u wanted to add x pipe, resonator, whatever...
That $ucks! I’ll have to hear what it sounds like now for sure.
Thanks for the information!

Thats how it sounds with X-pipe. To me there is deep sound only on startup after it settles and on acceleration you still get raspiness just maybe little bit louder and deeper. Its deeper and way louder then stock but don't let people try to convince you that its Deep Rumbling sound.

Has anyone heard the Magnaflow direct fit muffler? I’ve been looking at the Flowmaster FlowFX and just saw the Magnaflow option. Anyone know how they compare to stock and/or to the Corsa Sport?

Does anyone know if ALL gen 2 raptors have the engine noise played through the speakers? I have an 800a and have no clue if I have this or not. Hard to tell. Also is it common practice to have that feature turned off when exhaust is put on?

Installed the AWE 0fg myself two weeks ago. Got under the truck and fixed my install mistakes one week ago. Had my doubts about it before working on it again last weekend. I’m really liking it now. Very loud, deep and rumbling cold start, mellows out a lot after warm up and still sounds great to my ears around town in the middle gears with a nice growl. Like all of them, it gets really loud when the pedal hits the floor. I’ve put about 500 miles on it in the last two weeks. I believe the exhaust note is smoothing /mellowing a tad.

Warning: Take my opinion with a grain of salt, this is the first vehicle I’ve owned that had a performance exhaust (and my first time installing an exhaust myself).

AWE installed here. Complete cat-back system. 1,100 miles on it. Personally, I hate it. Just amps up the crappy V6 sound. Stock system, IMO, still is the best considering.
