But seriously, Holy shit man. $700 in recovery gear? That rope looks WAY oversized for a standard fullize truck that isnt getting top loader rockwell axles and 52" implement tires buried in a sticky mud hole. I've been using standard $40 3" x 30' tow straps to get things unstuck for 20 years with no problems, but to each their own I guess. Been pulled out and pulled plenty out with them too.

I keep an old lifting sling and an $8 soft shackle behind my seat for emergencies, and have a soft bag with my "good" strap and metal shackle I pack for trips.

I already have a 30K rope. in 2 situations this past winter that rope was undersized so I also wanted one that was complete overkill. I've also been watching Matt's Recovery for years. You ever see the videos of him recovering a full sized truck with a toyhauler attached? You think he's using a 30K rope for that?

I'm probably not ever going to NEED that much but I bet I'll never buy another rope because I won't break my 30K using it for something I shouldn't.
