At what point will it be better to wait for the 21's?

So when would you say is the point when it'd be better to wait for the 21's? When does Ford normally announce what additional features will be on the next model year? If they will be out in August or September, we will be there before we know it.

2021 F150 production is supposed to start 9/28/20 but if shit doesn't start happening that could be subject to change.

What's a Raptor?

For some, it is a ***** enlarging prosthesis. It can have major side effects though, when newer models are introduced, or other manufactures create vehicles deemed better, then it causes irreparable harm to ones ego, resulting in loss of enjoyment and sometimes outright shame to continue operating.

The question is highly subjective, as it depends on whether you need immediate gratification or can settle for delayed gratification, and how much you value whatever enhancements are in the next model year. As we know, some will say that you should never buy a new vehicle, used only. Others will wait for the 2021s to come out so that they can get a 2020 for cheaper.

I ended up getting a 2017 model last summer while I was shopping for 2019s. (Was actually trying out a Ram Rebel when I spotted my Raptor on the preowned lot). I rarely buy used, but this was very low miles, current gen, and saved me around $15k. Worth it. In hindsight, there are even some features of the 2017 I like better than later models.

Ford never announces before hand what will be on the next Raptor. And when it is announced, it is via the build/order guide. For example, this is the 2020 build/order guide >> https://media.ford.com/content/dam/...S/product/2020/f150/2020-F-150-OrderGuide.pdf

This is just my opinion but I think the 2020 will be the last year of the GEN2 trucks and again just my opinion, the GEN3 will be a 2022 model hitting dealerships on Nov/Dec of 2021.
