Can you use new OEM Ford U-Bolts while installing Icon Leaf Springs on setting 1 instead of provided Icon U-Bolts. Just like black finish on OEM U-Bolts instead of silver.

No you cannot. You will run out of threads before the leaf pack and axle are properly tightened. Remember that the stock leafs have that big bump stop block jammed between the axle and leafs.

You can paint the new u bolts with a quick rattle can job before you install them. You will need to touch up rock chips and pressure washing flake offs but that shouldn’t be a deal breaker I would imagine.

For reference, I snapped a u bolt and had to use an OEM temporarily until the new one arrived (did not drive around in this configuration). I used quite a few washers and tilted the axle carrier plate quite a bit just to get some clamping force using the stock u bolt. These nuts are bottomed out. Ran out of threads. a62c24ff8806f88a4c744c2e9f7c633b.jpg

Thank you. I have 2019 Roush Raptor and Front as of right now is at 40" and Rear at 42" so I decided to try only Eibach's for now since they will give you only 1.7-1.9 lift in Front on 2019 with Live Valve. I will see how it sits first after Eibach's get installed. I dont carry nothing pretty much in my bed so if I decide I want to change back leafs to Icon most definitely will go with option 1 which should put me at 43" in the back

Quick question about 2019 with Live Valve Shocks. My truck sits as of right now stock as follow:
Front 40" and Rear 42"
I have set of Eibach Springs which will give me about 1.7" lift up front. If I would go with Icon Leafs on OPTION 1 that would put me at additional 1" lift in the rear with empty bed. After that my truck would sit at around 41.7" in front and 43" in back. Do Icon Leafs settle overtime a lot if I dont carry nothing in my bed and dont tow nothing?

Springs in general will settle a bit overtime. I’d say the icons probably do about 1/2”. You could always get an extended length shackle to drop it back down an inch and be fairly level yet still benefit from the icon leaf pack.

our 2019 Raptor is on option 2 with RPG extended shackles and Eibachs up front and rake is right about at an inch for when we load it up with gear.

Thank you. So I would be looking probably at around 0.8" between rear and front after Icons would settle. I just send you quote question.

Eibach springs settle as do Icon rear leafs. It's really had to gauge from one truck truck to the next. But for your purposes and to get as level as possible, I'd leave the truck on option 1 with stock shackles and Eibach springs.

At this point, we have both Eibach and Icon springs in stock along with the Icon bump spacer if you choose to not add aftermarket bumps. Be glad to assist.

All came in waiting for next Friday to do install. I have Eibach's already installed on the front but I kind of miss small rake so going with Option 1 on Icons, Icon Bump extensions, SDHQ Bump pads and Camburg Stock length shackles. To my surprise Icon U-Bolts came in painted black.

Can anyone who has Icon Leafs installed with CAMBURG Stock Length Shackles give me their opinion. Some people say it works and some say they hit Leaf Springs even sitting on the driveway with load inside the bed? Has anyone have any experience with this setup on 2019?
